Sing for Shelter is an ambitious project taking place throughout 2019, bringing together choirs and singers across the UK with one common goal: to help combat the homelessness crisis we face. Thousands of singers are signed up already – we’d love you to join them!

The recording takes place at the London Coliseum on 30th October 2019, 2-5pm. Simply book your ticket(s) at that link,
sign this form (click to see the form – one form per singer) and bring it along on the day to take part! A very exciting line-up, with Sir Bryn Terfel, Lesley Garrett, Alice Coote, the ENO Orchestra and Chorus all confirmed for the event. Let me know of course if you have any questions. The London Coliseum will be open from 1pm on the day for arrival.
Here’s how it works:
2) Upload a video of you / your group performing A Place to Call Home, using the hashtag #singforshelter and including a link to the project’s JustGiving page, encouraging friends to donate to Shelter. We’ll then repost your video, sharing it with the whole Sing for Shelter community. Don’t worry if you don’t have special equipment – a simple video on your smartphone would work perfectly! The video can be uploaded either to your Facebook/Twitter pages, or simply on your own Facebook profile – as long as it’s publicly listed and includes the hashtag #singforshelter, we’ll be able to share it!
3) Later this year, everyone who’s taken part in the project will be invited to come together and record A Place to Call Home as a charity single, raising even more money for Shelter. (NB participation in this isn’t essential for taking part in this project – the most important thing for now is to upload your videos!)
